The Fireside Chats

I got to visit my local bookstore yesterday on my day off. I spent about an hour in there (I could live in there, to be honest) before I had to go on about my business. Anyway, I picked up three new books while I was there which you will find below. The second book shown, I just found out it is the first book in a series. I’m always happy to find that out, especially when I learn that the book I picked up is the first book. The first book shown is a standalone I found in the bargain section and the third book shown is just a collection of spooky stories which I usually like to read around Halloween (or just in the mood for something scary).
