What are some books that you’d like to see get their own tv show? Do you think other people would like that as a tv show (regardless if they were a reader or not)?
The Mordecai Tremaine series by Frances Duncan = This is a good series for people who are fans of Agatha Christie or for anyone who likes mystery in general.
The Black Hollow Lane series by Julia Nobel = Not only would I think this would be a good tv show, this would be a good show for kids. The main characters in the books remind me of the trio from the Harry Potter series (at least from the first couple of books).
The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward = This is a book that I read recently but I could see this being a good tv show, however, this would be for mature audiences only.
The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly = I read this book several years ago but I remember loving it so much (I still have my copy in paperback form). This is a wonderful coming of age story but I would watch it yourself (or read the book yourself) before letting the kiddos watch/read it.
