How to Be Unpopular in the Literature World

What do you think makes someone unpopular in the literature world?

Spoilers

Ruining a book for you before you have the chance to finish your book is probably the biggest thing to me. I remember when I was reading “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” when it first came out and walking around with fingers in my ears so that I wouldn’t overhear someone else talking about the book. Ruining a book before I finish it has always been a pet peeve of mine. I went to see a movie based on a book and someone mentioned that a character died in the movie just before the movie started. It wasn’t a complete shock to me because I had already read the book but I still thought it was a little rude to just throw that out there while we were watching all the commercials before the movie started.

Too Loud or Too Much Talking

Others ways might be that you are too loud when someone is trying to read, especially if you do this on purpose. This is why I read at home. I can control my surroundings a lot more than I can when I’m out in public. I can read in peace and if I need to get away from the noise from the tv (my hubby likes watching tv) then I can just go to another room in the house. I can also stay away from people talking to me too much and not leaving me alone so that I can read. Some people don’t mind other people talking to them but some might.

What about you? What do you think are some ways that can make someone or something unpopular in the literature world?
