Why Reading is Scarier than Clowns?

Well, why do you think reading is scarier than clowns? Have any idea? Let me see if I can answer this for you….

Horror

This is probably the most obvious choice. If you enjoy reading horror, or maybe even a suspense/thriller, then reading can be pretty scary. Especially if you’re reading something from Stephen King, Joe Hill, Anne Rice, Richard Matheson, etc. The list goes on and on and on…..

Favorite Character

Another way is through your favorite characters. We all have our favorites. If the author is good, you can get attached to a character as the story progress’. It can become scary when your favorite character encounters certain situations during the story.

Rather Large

For some, tackling a rather large book or a really long series might seem a bit scary. Especially if you are not normally a reader to begin with and this book is forced reading for a school assignment. I don’t remember having this problem because I happen to like reading and the teachers I had let us choose which books we read.
