“A Woman Alone” by Nina Laurin

I’ve just finished reading this one and thought I’d share. This is the first book I’ve read from this author……I took a chance on this one because the synopsis sounded good. The story line was good enough to keep you going while the suspense kept building and building……I didn’t see it coming when I got to the end. I had some thoughts on how it was going to end but I didn’t even guess it correctly. If you like suspense/thriller that’ll have you on the edge of your seat, then you’d probably like this one. {Note: I think this book is better suited for adults.}

Synopsis: A House With The Darkest of Secrets.

A Woman Who Is The Only One Who Knows.

It’s another bright, sunny day in Venture, Illinois, the sort of place where dreams comes true and families can get a fresh start. Cecelia Holmes deserves it after the home invasion that shattered her previous life. Now everything seems perfect — her high-security SmartHome, her doting husband, her sweet daughter.

Until she begins to feel spied upon. Her husband doesn’t believe her. Her neighbors ignore her. So when she discovers a shocking secret about the prior occupant of their house, she thinks that she has no one to turn to. And now Cecelia must face her fears — alone.

    I love reading suspense/thriller books which is why I know for certain that I will be getting this book very soon. I don’t like reading books which is too predictable because it kills the fun for me.

    Thanks so much for sharing this. It’s definitely a kind of book I would love to read. Thankfully, I will be visiting my favourite bookstore next week, I’m most certainly picking out the book for myself.
