What are some of your favorite things about reading that you enjoy?

• I can take my reading on the go. I take either a physical book or my Kindle with me so that I can have something to read when I’m out and about. If I’m on vacation and I’ve traveling, I tend to take my Kindle with me so that I have plenty of e-books to read in the event there’s some down time when I travel. If I’m going out to just run errands, then I’ll take a single book with me in case I find myself standing in line somewhere….then I can keep myself entertained.
• No commercials. I don’t have to deal with commercials like I do if I’m watching tv so there’s no interruptions. Maybe this explains why I don’t watch that much tv to begin with…
• I can keep myself entertained without disturbing others around me. Let’s face it, who is going to complain about your book being too loud? You could literally prop me up in a corner with a good book and I can keep myself entertain without bothering anyone else around me.
• It can give you a reason to be by yourself (if you want). If you are an introverted person and enjoy some quiet time alone once in a while, reading is a great way to do that.
• Not only does reading keep me entertained, it can provide me with a stress reliever. After a long day at my job, I love to read because it allows my brain to focus on something else and gets me off of what I’ve experienced at work that day.
