“The Party” by Natasha Preston

This book just came out in December and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I’ve read literature from this particular author before and I’ve like what I’ve read before. I immediately became interested in this book because I fell in love with the cover. I fell in love with the book even more once I read the synopsis. I wasn’t sure who the killer was in this book…..I never guessed and I certainly didn’t see that ending coming. I won’t reveal anything in case you want to read this for yourself. This book is a good locked room mystery but I wouldn’t recommend this book for anyone who may be a little bit squeamish.

Synopsis: Are you invited? In the heart of the English countryside, a group of teenagers gather at a remote castle for a weekend of fun and games. But when the first of them dies, the party takes a deadly turn. As the body count rises, the remaining guests must race against time to uncover the killer’s identity before they become the next victim.
