“Darkness” by Christopher Krovatin

This is the first book of the year for me that I finished reading last night before I went to bed. This is a middle grade horror book, if I was a kid then I would have probably read this around 5th or 6th grade. If your kid likes scary stories (and aren’t easily scared) then this may be a novel for them to read.

The story was good and it continued to build throughout the novel until you got to the end. I thought it was a good book even though I knew going in that it’s geared towards a younger audience.

Synopsis: For horror fans of all ages, a twisted tale of what happens in a town plagued by darkness.

If you’re not afraid of the dark . . . you should be. In a town which is plunged into darkness without warning, strange things rise when no one else can see . . . and the source of the darkness may be the scariest thing of all.

I wouldn’t want a horror book as a kid, but this book should be good for my cousin as he likes reading horror books. So, I should get the Darkness for him.

    1. If he’s into reading horror and isn’t easily scared, then he’d probably like it.
