I finished reading this. Yes, I just bought this one recently and I’ve finished it already. I thought this was going to be a typical haunted house book but it wasn’t……not exactly. I mean there is a house in this book that does have ghosts in it. But the house is almost treated as another character in the book almost…….almost as much as the family that moves in. I did enjoy this reading this book and would recommend this to someone who considers themselves a horror fan. This book may not be good for children or the faint of heart though.

Synopsis: Eric Ross is on the run from a mysterious past with his two daughters in tow. Having left his wife, his house, his whole life behind in Maryland, he’s desperate for money–it’s not easy to find safe work when you can’t provide references, you can’t stay in one place for long, and you’re paranoid that your past is creeping back up on you.
