Do you read more than one book?

How many of you read more than one book at a time?

Right now, I’m currently reading two books at the present moment. I’m currently reading one book on my Kindle Fire and I’m reading another in paperback form (both completely different books). I didn’t use to read more than one book at a time. Use to, I only read one book at a time and that was it. Between school and whatever extra curricular activities I had, I only had time to read one book at a time. Now, I just manage to hold down the job that I have and then I come home. I don’t really do much outside of holding down my full time job……other than this blog, of course. I would love to just read all the time and just write for my blog. Unfortunately, that doesn’t pay the bills.

    I prefer reading one book at a time because it is one of the ways that I get to fully understand what message the book I am reading is talking about. I am not so good at having divided attention and that is the reason I always focus on reading one book at a time, but that is not to say that reading more than one book is not okay, but I feel good reading just a book at a time.

    I read one book at a time because I don’t like having myself conflicted with more than one book plot. It’s easier to focus and concentrate in one book and get done with it before starting to read another.

    I prefer to read one book at a time, it helps me become better immersed in the story. if I try to read more than one book at a time, I’d start to get the two stories mixed up and it throws me off.
