How much time do you spend reading on a daily basis?

I always read before going to bed. It’s the one time I normally have to read, plus, it’s something that relaxes me after doing what I do at work, coming home to cook dinner and wash the dishes, etc. Once I’m done with it all, I can take my shower and then sit down with whatever book I’m reading at the time. Normally I can get in an hour or two in of reading time before bed.

If I’m off work that day, then normally I can get a lot more reading done. Not unless I have a bunch of chores to do or I have to go off running errands (which is rare). I normally try to do my chores after work so that my days off are free to do as I please. But I’m normally getting more reading done on my days off from work. I could read for hours if I didn’t have to worry about going to work.

  1. Whenever I pick up any book to read, I will try as much as possible to give it at least a minimum of 3 to 4 hours. I usually prefer to read in the night because that’s when I have the calm mind to read and understand what I’m reading.
