The Fireside Chats

Some time back, I read a book called “Fort Whiskey” by David Banks. First thing, the book has been re-named “Willis Reed: Fort Whiskey Justice”. Has a different book cover and everything though it’s the same book. I just found out earlier this week that we’re getting a sequel. It’s going to be called “Willis Reed: Fort Whiskey Revenge”. The author did announce that the second book is available in e-book form only at the moment but the paperback edition should be out soon. I do plan on getting the second book once it does come out in paperback.

Synopsis: The three Reed brothers from Ft. Smith (also known as Fort Whiskey), Arkansas, are forced to watch as their father is hanged in front of them by three hooded men. The brothers are determined to discover the identities of the murderers and avenge their father. Civil War broke out in the country, and the brothers were compelled to fight. When the war is done, the brothers come together again to fulfill their blood pact. Willis Reed, the youngest brother, is conflicted with the difference between killing in war and killing for vengeance. Is it murder? Is it vengeance, or is it justice?
