The Fireside Chats

Well, I devoured another book. This book is a series of short stories that reads like a comic book or a graphic novel. Each story tells a different horrific tale to scare you even if you read with the lights on. The artwork enhances the story as well (in my opinion). I find some of the stories in this book are similar to what you tell your friends around a campfire to try to scare each other. {Note: This book is listed as “young adult/teen” so an adult may or may not find it scary enough.}

Synopsis: Journey through the woods in this sinister, compellingly spooky collection that features four brand-new stories and one phenomenally popular tale in print for the first time.
