Have there been any time in your life where you were disappointed in a book? What book was it? What exactly disappointed you about that book?
I read a book a few years back by Chris Bohjalian…..it was called “The Night Strangers”. I thought the book was good until I got to the end. I thought the end was horrible………so horrible, in fact, that I have not read anything from this author since then.
There was one other book I tried to read a couple of years ago (seen below). The synopsis was good……it made the book sound like something Agatha Christie herself could have written. Problem was that this has been the one time that I find myself not being able to finish a book. The book got so bogged down with the details that I only made it about half way through and I had to put it down. Normally I’m really hardcore about finishing whatever book I pick up……..but I couldn’t with this particular book.
