Butterbeer!

How many of you would like to try a butterbeer from the Harry Potter world (non-alcoholic)?

I’ve tried “Dang! That’s good Butterscotch Rootbeer” (pictured below) and it tastes just like the Butterbeer that you get at the Harry Potter park in Universal Studios. So….if you find any place that sells old fashioned soda in glass bottles then you should try one. I must tell you though that they taste better cold (they do to me) so put it in your fridge for a while to let it get cold. I normally keep 2 or 3 in my fridge so that I can drink one whenever I get a craving for one.

I’ve also found this. I’ve not tried one of these yet so I don’t know how they compare to the drink above it or to the butterbeer you get at the theme park. I’m might be willing to give it a try next time just for grins and giggles though.

  1. Interesting! Does it taste like the candy? I’m curious to know what the sugar content is like. I’m not sure if I’d ever buy a bottle for myself, but would pick it up if I had someone to share it with me.

    1. I didn’t know there was a candy. So I don’t know if they taste the same or not. My hubby is the same. He won’t drink a whole one by himself. He’ll just take a sip of one and let me drink the rest of it.

    1. You may be on to something there. There is a lot of stuff from Harry Potter that I’d like to try but I forgot about all the stuff in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

This sounds like an amazing drink, I have never had it or anything similar, and I feel like it would have an amazing taste. We used to have a local business that sold all kinds of random drinks like the one in your image, I purchased a couple, but it was packed with tons of sugar. If they’re still in business I will attempt to see if I can find a similar drink and give it a try. Thank you for sharing!

    1. That’s the reason why my husband doesn’t drink a whole one by himself. They do have a pretty good amount of sugar in them. Normally he just takes one sip of mine and then he lets me drink the rest of it by myself.
