I finished reading this yesterday and thought I’d share. I’m sure I read this a long time ago when I was a child. Some of my classmates and I at the time made a play out of this and performed it in front of the rest of the school. Anyway, back to the book….
I enjoyed reading this (or actually re-reading it). Trying to read some of the Yorkshire accents in this book might take some getting use to, especially if you are not a regular reader. It didn’t bother me at all. I did like the story and how things turned out in the end. Being an animal love, my favorite part was Dickon and his “creature”. This would be a good book to read with your children if you enjoy doing so.
