What are some books that you would put on the curriculum? Why?
When I was in school, I was always allowed to pick what I read by my teachers. I don’t remember ever being forced to read something in school. I do believe there are things you can learn from reading, even if you are reading fiction of some sort. There’s a couple of books I would like to see in the curriculum. Probably wouldn’t happen but one can always wish and hope….
This book can show you the power of perseverance during a tragic moment in history (for a students that may be a little older).
This shows you the story of a boy and what he has to face against an evil villain. Yes, I know it’s a work of fiction. But it’s still a coming of age story (for children).
