What will you be reading to get yourself in the spirit of Halloween? I know Halloween isn’t until the end of October but I’m curious what your thoughts are about what to read for this particular holiday. I also want to give myself enough time to gather up and read any recommendations provided.
Below are some stuff I’ve already read this year that may help you get into the spirit of Halloween if you are interested…..

This book is a collection of novellas that kind of remind me of Rod Sterling’s Twilight which originally aired from the late 50’s and early 60’s.

This reads like a novel and a comic book in one. I’ve read comic books before and of course, I’ve read novels but I’ve never read both at the same time. But I think it worked out perfectly given the story line.

I think this would be fun to read with your children, for those of you that have kids. I think there are books after this but I haven’t gotten around to reading them yet. It may be something you can get into with your kids though if you enjoy reading with your children.

I’m going to tell you this up front…..DO NOT READ THIS TO YOUR KIDS. I’m sorry. I don’t mean to shout but I cannot stress this enough. This book is definitely one for mature audiences only. At the very least, sit down and read this by yourself…..you’ll see what I mean.

This book is more of an edge of your seat thriller/mystery. You won’t see the end coming (or at least I didn’t when I read it).
