It’s a legitimate question. How much is literature worth to you? How much $ are you willing to spend on literature? How much money have you spent in the past on literature?
There’s no telling how much money I’ve spent on the books I have (both the physical copies and the e-books). Not all the money I’ve spent was mine. I’ve spent money that was given to me for my birthday or for Christmas. But I’ve at least spent money on something that I’ve enjoyed and makes me happy. Not only does reading keep me entertained, it provides me with a way to relax at the end of the day and let go of the stress. That’s something I can put a price tag on.
