Harry’s Birthday

The bookstore that is near my house, it usually has a “buy 2 and get the 3rd free” on the Harry Potter books (paperback version only). They usually do this in July and I figured it had to do with the fact that Harry’s birthday is in July. Those of you who are a fan of the series, do you do anything special during the month of July since it’s when Harry celebrates his birthday?

Which Harry Potter book is your favorite? Did you like the movie better than the book or the book better than the movie? How often have you read the books? How often do you watch the movies?

    That is quite a unique way of offering a discount. I had no idea his birthday was then, nor that they would do a discount for it. Harry Potter can be very expensive though, so it is great you got some kind of discount. Which books did you buy?

    Well, they usually only include the paperbacks in this sale and not the hardcovers. The paperbacks are not as expensive to begin with. But they’ve done this every year for the last few years (that I can remember). I didn’t purchase any Harry Potter books during the month of July though.
